Dunoon learns how to make a big splash in watersports

Watersports Welcome workshop
3 October 2007
Royal Marine Hotel, Dunoon

Watersports are big business for Scotland, and knowing a little about what enthusiasts need from you could be very profitable.

This one-day course in Dunoon will give you a better understanding of the range of marine leisure opportunities available in Scotland, and increase your knowledge of waterborne customers and how to meet their specific needs and expectations.

The course will provide information on the volume and value of watersports to Scottish tourism and how this benefits your business. It will also show you how to realise your business potential by ‘selling on’ other business opportunities.

This workshop complements VisitScotland’s new Watersports Welcome Scheme, launching this year, which recognises the special efforts made by operators to provide for visitors with an interest in watersports. Members of the scheme will receive a window sticker and certificate, and their award will be displayed in appropriate VisitScotland publications.

Cost is £40 + VAT and includes lunch and refreshments. For more information or to book a place, contact Tourist Board Training on 01294 313006 or e-mail tbt@tbt.visitscotland.com
