Piperdam to increase staff by 20%
Piperdam Golf & Leisure resort is set to more than double in size as The Blacklaw Hill is purchased.
A deal for the purchase of The Blacklaw Hill from Rossie Priory Estates has just been concluded. The 350 acre site will allow Piperdam to fulfil the insatiable demand by tourists looking to spend time in the Dundee and Angus area.
Plans for the site will include the expansion of recreational facilities for tourists and locals alike. The construction of 10 new executive lodges starts in January bringing the total build to 60 lodges and ‘A Room with a View’ conservatory restaurant is currently under construction.
Phil Mulholland from Piperdam is delighted with the expansion and predicts a growth in staffing by 20%, Piperdam currently employ 62 full and part time staff and the expansion will create these new positions at the resort. Construction of a new 9 Hole Golf Course was completed at the end of September this year and is on course to open late summer 2008.
