Invitation to network event, 24 January
Quality will be at the forefront of the first VisitScotland Perthshire and Angus & Dundee networking event of 2008.
Murrayshall House Hotel will be the venue for the event, held in conjunction with Scottish Enterprise Tayside, and will look at the importance of providing customers with a quality experience that touches on every aspect of a trip.
Laura Alexander, a Quality Advisor with VisitScotland, will not only provide some top tips for improving the quality of an establishment and how to create that quality experience, but will also touch on the range of VisitScotland Welcome schemes.
VisitScotland has a wide range of Welcome Schemes available that incorporate everything from cyclists to children and film crews to anglers. Each one has been developed by VisitScotland to guide consumers with a range of specialised interests to those establishments that pay particular attention to their varied needs. The network event will briefly look at the Welcome Schemes but if you require further information please contact your local Business Relationship Manager or Business Relationship and Marketing Manager
Total quality is one of the key drivers set out in the Tourism Prospectus, the thinking of VisitScotland on how to achieve growth and a prosperous tourism industry.
Pauline Alexander from the Alexander Residence in Perth will also talk about their 2 luxury self catering properties and provide businesses with her tips for adding value and quality innovatively.
This free event will take place on Thursday 24 January at Murrayshall House Hotel from 7.15pm – 9.00pm. If you’d like to attend please contact Jennifer Ritchie on 01738 450603 or email Jennifer.ritchie@visitscotland.com.
