The Fife Network Office has received alerts from accommodation providers in the area about a scam targeting Fife and the rest of Scotland.

Bookings are being made to accommodation providers by the name of Dr. Alan Brad often on behalf of other names (as if he was acting as an agent). There are various versions of the scam but needless to say payment falls through.

The scam seems to emanate from New Zealand. Further information can be found on www.villagepress.co.nz and by searching under the name Dr Alan Brad.
