Homecoming Scotland, a Scottish Government initiative managed by EventScotland in partnership with VisitScotland, will be a year-long celebration in 2009 of Scotland's culture and heritage.

A funding programme has been launched to help create a programme of events and organisers can apply for awards of between £5,000 and £50,000.
