Aberdeen passes “Go”
Aberdeen has passed “Go” with its very own version of Monopoly, launched this month.
Favourites appearing on the board, which replace the usual London landmarks such as Oxford Street and Park Lane, include Union Street, Duthie Park, Codona's, Aberdeen University, and Aberdeen's own "Mayfair" as voted for by the public – Marischal College.
The Aberdeen public were asked earlier this year to vote for which favourite sights should take pride of place on the customised board, after the city beat off competition from Dundee, Inverness and Perth to win its own version of the famous game.
